Penn Stainless Products (Quakertown, PA) added a new line of 330 Plate and Processed Flat Bar to its family of high-temperature products. According to the company, 330 is ideal for high-temperature, high-pressure applications. In addition, the alloy can be used where resistance to the combined effects of thermal cycling and carburization is necessary. Alloy 330 is an austenitic, nickel-chromium-iron-silicon alloy with corrosion resistance provided by the high nickel content, as well as its chromium and silicon content.
