Will You Hold This, T-Rex?

The T-Rex Test Stand from Cooper Instruments (Shawnee, OK) has been designed to accommodate a variety of materials, component, and product tests. The flexible system provides a capacity of 4 tons in tension and 10 tons in compression. The numerous applications possible with the T-Rex system include, according to the manufacturer: mechanical connection tests, adhesive bond strength verification, crushing strength review, and more. Additional features of the T-Rex Test Stand are:

  • A DFI Infinity digital indicator/controller.
  • A hydraulic hand pump and 10-ton double-acting hydraulic cylinder.
  • A choice of casters or leveling feet.
  • A digital height micrometer.
