The IronHorse permanent magnet DC 56C-frame motor line from AutomationDirect (Cumming, GA) features enclosed non-vented and totally enclosed fan-cooled models. The motors are constructed of a rolled steel frame in sizes ranging from 0.33 to 2HP. The IronHorse DC motors are ideal for conveyors or turntables. Additional features include:

  • A base 1,800 RPM, along with linear speed/torque characteristics over the entire speed range, and high starting torques for heavy load applications.
  • The capability to be used on unfiltered SCR (Thyristor) type 115 or 230V rectified AC inputs.
  • Large brushes that provide for longer brush life.
  • The ability to be mounted to the Stable motor slide bases for accurate motor positioning.
