The solvent-based inhibitors offer 50 to 300 hours of salt spray protection, making it ideal for raw steel/casting inventory, in-process parts, or parts in long-term storage. Users can also choose from a variety of coatings, including a water-displacing film, non-oily sealant, or a self-healing wax. In addition, the products are available in VOC-free versions. The water-based products offer 25 to 150 hours of protection using a water-dilutable oil, a dry water-based sealant, a satin-gloss acrylic polymer, or a high-gloss urethane sealant.
