High-Efficiency Circulator

WILO (Melrose Park, IL) introduces a line of high-efficiency circulators: the Stratos. The line can reduce consumption by up to 80 percent over single-speed pumps by incorporating electronic commutated motor (ECM) technology and a variable speed drive, resulting in greater efficiency than asynchronous motors. The smart pumps constantly fine-tune the circulation of fluid to a zone based on the exact level of heating or cooling required in real-time. They also maximize the efficiency of the energy being used in the primary or cooling loop.
