The Bhopal Disaster, 25 Years Later

Some criminal liability was finally found in the Bhopal industrial accident of 1984, but that doesn't help heal the lingering wounds — both physical and psychological — that the victims are still feeling. Between the 100,000 people still suffering from chronic illnesses due to explosure, the Bhopal disaster is a painful reminder that industry can have an enormous impact on everyday people.
