Copiers 'Goldmines' For Identity Thieves

Every business in the U.S. has at least one copy machine that’s used on an almost-constant basis. The problem is that most Americans, nor the businesses that employ them, are aware the copy machines store every document ever scanned, printed, and faxed on hard drives buried deep within the machinery. When an office gets rid of their old copier, that hard drive becomes a "goldmine" for identity theives on the lookout for social security numbers, birth certificates, medical records, and more.
