The SuperFreakonomics Of Global Warming

Wed, 10/28/2009 - 6:39am

Steven D. Levitt, author of the famed book "Freakonomics," has some interesting proposals when it comes to global warming. When most people are trying to "green" their lifestyle to reduce their environmental impact, Levitt bucks conventional thought with some cold, hard statistics.

Levitt claims if we just inject sulfur dioxide into the stratosphere, we can solve all our global warming problems. Still interested in thinking like a "freakonomist"? Check out Levitt's unusual perceptions on our modern lifestyle, including how to catch terrorists and the dangers of car seats.
