Seems like everyone in America is clamoring to put Toyota out to pasture in light of their recent recalls. CNN digs through NHTSA records to find out not only how many complaints all automakers have recieved of unintended acceleration, but also how Toyota and it's competitors rank in overall safety complains. While Toyota has received over 1,000 complaints after the recalls were announced, they still rank at 17th of the 20 companies with the most safety-related complaints. The Big 3? GM rests at 11th, Ford at 10th, and Chrysler nets the 7th most complaints. Regardless of the current recall, Toyota has an impressive safety record over the last two decades.
