According to Cooper Bussmann (St. Louis, MO), Underwriters Laboratories (UL) has established a new fuse and fuse holder class for the next generation of circuit protection, and only the Low-Peak CUBEFuse system meets the new Class CF standard. The new Class CF is the first with Peak Current Let-Through Curves in the standard, which cover the range of currents from 25kA to 300kA.

igus  is now offering the RX energy tube, which was developed especially for the machine tool industry. Its construction is nearly 100 percent chip-proof, with a domed outer contour that allows debris — such as metal or wood chips — to simply fall off the tube.
