YORK, Pa. (AP) — A central Pennsylvania paperboard plant will be closing this fall, leaving 78 people without jobs. Officials said the Yorktowne Paperboard Corp. plant in York County's Spring Garden Township will close by mid-October. The plant, which opened in 1945, makes paperboard used by manufacturers of tubes and cores around which paper is rolled.
